Day 1: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls

You depart early from Kampala, driving north toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which takes about 4–5 hours. Upon arrival, you join a guided rhino tracking tour, walking through the sanctuary to spot endangered white rhinos and learn about conservation efforts. After this exciting encounter, you continue west to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the afternoon. You check into your lodge or safari camp along the Nile River, with the evening free to relax, enjoy the views, or capture the stunning sunset over the river.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive across Murchison Falls National Park, where you can see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and other wildlife. The landscapes vary from savannahs to riverine forests, providing excellent photographic opportunities. Later, visit the Top of Murchison Falls to witness the Nile as it squeezes through a narrow gorge and plunges dramatically. In the afternoon, you may take an optional boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birds, while enjoying the magnificent scenery. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Gulu – Kidepo Valley

Early in the morning, you depart Murchison Falls for the long drive north, passing through Gulu, where you can stop for refreshments and lunch. Continue to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and scenic wildlife areas, arriving in the late afternoon. Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park

Spend a full day in Kidepo Valley with morning and afternoon game drives. Day 6: Pian Upe – Mbale – Sipi Falls

From Mbale, continue to Sipi Falls, a spectacular series of waterfalls at the edge of Mount Elgon, arriving in the afternoon. Day 7: Sipi Falls Exploration

Dedicate the full day to exploring Sipi Falls.
