Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax, recover from your flight, or enjoy a short city tour. Kampala, Uganda’s bustling capital, offers a mix of modern amenities and cultural attractions. Your guide will brief you on the safari itinerary, including key wildlife and adventure highlights. Overnight stay is at a comfortable hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Kampala for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, about a three- to four-hour drive through scenic countryside and rolling hills. Ziwa is Uganda’s only sanctuary where white rhinos have been reintroduced, offering a rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in the wild. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, go on a guided rhino tracking walk, observing rhinos alongside other wildlife like antelopes and warthogs. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy sightings of African fish eagles, hornbills, and other species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ziwa → Murchison Falls National Park

Following breakfast, drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park, approximately 5–6 hours. The route passes through rural villages, farmlands, and rolling hills, giving a glimpse of local life in northern Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Depending on arrival time, take a short evening game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and Uganda kobs. The sunset over the savannah plains offers excellent photography opportunities. Day 4: Murchison Falls – Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Start the day with an early game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. The northern savannah plains and riverine forests are home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, Uganda kobs, and smaller antelopes. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch, then embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants drinking at the riverbanks, and a wide variety of bird species. The cruise provides a unique perspective of the falls, contrasting with the top-of-the-falls view. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Murchison Falls → Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, either by domestic flight (recommended for convenience) or by road (6–8 hours). Day 7: Kidepo Valley – Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Moroto

After the drive, begin your journey south toward Moroto, a scenic town in the Karamoja region (approximately 5–6 hours drive). Day 8: Karamoja Culture and Transfer to Sipi Falls

In the morning, immerse yourself in Karamoja culture, visiting local communities to learn about traditional crafts, dances, and lifestyles of the Karamojong people. After the cultural visit, drive south toward Sipi Falls (approximately 6–7 hours). The route offers stunning views of hills, farmland, and small villages. Day 9: Sipi Falls Exploration
