Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax, recover from your flight, or enjoy a short city tour. Kampala, Uganda’s bustling capital, offers a mix of modern amenities and cultural attractions. Your guide will brief you on the safari itinerary, including key wildlife and adventure highlights. Overnight stay is at a comfortable hotel in Kampala.


Day 2: Kampala → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Kampala for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, about a three- to four-hour drive through scenic countryside and rolling hills. Ziwa is Uganda’s only sanctuary where white rhinos have been reintroduced, offering a rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in the wild. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, go on a guided rhino tracking walk, observing rhinos alongside other wildlife like antelopes and warthogs.
